I came across your blog and wanted to say hello. My name is Iri Amirav and I am a co-founder at iMedix. iMedix is a website that helps hundreds of thousands of patients every month and we’ve recently decided to form a Support Group for Bipolar patients:

I am looking for leaders who will be interested to start and manage this group with me and thought you might be a good person to speak with about finding patients in need. I would love to speak with you and tell you more about who we are and what we are trying to accomplish.

Please feel free to contact me by email. In addition, you can find me on the iMedix website under the nickname irus.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi, I just came across your blog and I just wanted to let you know I know how you feel. I am bipolar as well and I am just coming out of a manic episode. This one lasted a long time and it was hard on my kids. I too get into these moods where I think that my meds are the reason I am the way I am but when I am off of them there is no denying that something is wrong. I just started taking my Lamictal again and my doctor gave me cymbalta. I haven't yet tried that and don't know if I will. I have been getting out more and spending more time with my family. I still can't sleep well though and I was up all night searching for some type of ideas on how to get to sleep. I tried classical music but thought I might scream. Thanks so much for the helpful sites you posted. I am hoping that tonight will be better.

If you believe you've suffered a panic attack, it's always wise to consult a physician. It serves two purposes; first is to rule out any other medical condition, and second is to have peace of mind that there is nothing seriously wrong with you that is causing the panic attacks.
